Vernice L. Howard, MBA is Chief Financial Officer for IEC, Inc. & Affiliates. With over 30 years of experience in the fields of finance and accounting, she is responsible for providing leadership to the organization in the areas of finance, human resources, and general facilities administration in addition to setting the policies, procedures, strategic planning, and oversight of the Association’s assets. Vernice has been a part of the leadership team for 11 years.
Vernice holds an MBA in Finance from Trinity Washington University Graduate School of Business Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Duquesne University. Her professional background established an emphasis in forensic accounting and has allowed for the financial restructuring of every company in which she has held a position. In addition, her skill has been held in high esteem in many court cases, providing restored finances in the millions to companies.
Prior to joining IEC, Howard worked in public accounting for several years gaining experience in tax and auditing; television broadcasting for Cronkite & Ward as Chief Financial Officer; entertainment industry; the nonprofit sector of social services; and formulating experience for Association’s with the American Political Science Association (APSA).
