David Hittinger is the director of Codes and Standards at IEC. In this role, David is responsible for managing the IEC Codes and Standards Committee and ensures IEC representation on all NFPA technical committees. David has a true passion for the National Electrical Code and has served on Code Panel 1 since 1998 and the Correlating Committee for over 15 years. David also serves on the UL Electrical Council and the UL Collaborative Standards Development System as a standards technical panel member.
