Voice Your Support for the Proposed Joint Employer Rule

On Friday, September 14, 2018, the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) released a proposed rule that would clarify the NLRB’s test for determining whether separate businesses qualify as joint employers. The rule proposes that the NLRB will only find that a business jointly employs another’s workers if it “possesses and exercises substantial, direct and immediate control” over them.
