Insights Magazine and IEC Website Win 2015 Hermes Creative Awards

IEC is proud to announce that Insights Magazine and the IEC website have each won a 2015 Hermes Creative Award. Hermes Creative Awards recognizes outstanding work in the industry of marketing and communication professionals. The Code Issue (January/February 2014) of Insights Magazine won a Platinum Award and the overall IEC website won a Gold Award.

“IEC has been proud to have some of the best marketing, communication, and public relations professionals in the association industry,” said Thayer Long, CEO and Executive Vice President of IEC. “Recognition of these talented individuals through the Hermes Awards is wonderful and well-deserved.”

There were over 6,000 entries from throughout the United States, Canada, and several other countries in the Hermes Creative Awards 2015 competition. Entries came from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, design shops, production companies, and freelancers. Only about 15 percent of the entries won the Platinum Award, the organization’s top honor.

Hermes Creative Awards is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals and honor those whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry. Winners were selected from 195 categories grouped under advertising, publications, marketing/branding, integrated marketing, public relations/communications, electronic media, and pro bono.
