Cancellation & Refund Policies

IEC hopes everyone who registers for the conference will be able to attend; however, IEC knows extenuating circumstances do occur. The IEC Cancellation and Refund Policies are as follows:

Convention Refund and Cancellation Policy

The IEC Convention Cancellation and Refund Policy will be as follows to assure consistency and is applicable to the annual IEC Convention.

  • Convention registration canceled on-line on or before September 30, 2020 is refundable but subject to a $50 processing fee.
  • Registrants canceling on or after October 1, 2020 will not receive a refund. The refund and cancellation policy will not be waived. Registration fees may be transferred to another individual; the invoice for the new registration will be revised to reflect the new registrant's membership status.
  • In the event IEC must cancel the conference due to unforeseen circumstances, IEC will refund the cost of registration. However, IEC does not assume responsibility for any additional costs, charges, or expenses; to include, charges made for travel and lodging.

Unforeseen Circumstances Defined for Refund and Cancellation Policies:

Unforeseen circumstances are used to describe an event that is unexpected and prevents IEC from continuing with a conference, training, or webinar. Examples of such circumstances can include, but are not limited to, inclement weather, natural disasters, site unavailability, technology challenges, health outbreaks, and/or presenter absence.
