Apply for the IEC Emerging Leaders Program
Deadline Extended to January 20, 2021

The IEC Emerging Leaders Program (ELP) is a six-month leadership development program for professionals in the electrical industry. Each year, six to ten individuals will be selected to form a cohort class to participate in skills development workshops, networking opportunities, leadership exercises, and project development studies.

Explore a multitude of topical areas in the industry, including government affairs, advocacy, safety, codes and standards, diversity and inclusion, human capital management, industry partnerships, time management, public speaking, and more.

In 2021, you’ll have the opportunity to travel with your cohort to Washington, D.C., Chicago, and Denver to gain knowledge around advocacy and industry partnerships, and to attend the 2021 IEC Convention & Expo.

Throughout the experience, you’ll meet and work with industry leaders to develop the important relationships that will strengthen your future career. The ELP will provide you with the skills you need to become an effective leader and advance in the industry.

Are You an Emerging Leader?

Being an “emerging leader” has nothing to do with age or job title. If you have the drive, determination, and desire to better your leadership skills and open doors to future opportunities, the ELP is for you.
