Dresden Farrand serves as the Vice President of Chapter Development and is responsible for the direction and overall management of chapter development and the component relations program of the organization. Dresden's extensive expertise in membership/sponsorship management, member engagement, program management, governance, strategic planning, leadership development, innovation, diversity, and evaluation. 

Prior to serving at IEC, Dresden led her previous organization through an expansion and overall restructuring of the membership program and component model which included a significant membership dues increase, a 35% increase in membership over 3 years, the addition of 14 chapters components, a 24% increase in retention, and increased revenue. 

As a Certified Association Executive (CAE), Dresden currently serves as a member of the CAE Commission and holds two Masters degrees in Public Administration and Public Policy. Dresden is also a passionate speaker in the area of membership development, component relations, and retention strategies. Dresden is a 2016 40 Under 40® Award Recipient of Association Forum and USAE.

With over 30 years of experience in economic analysis and forecasting, Dr. Henry Fishkind is widely regarded as one of Florida's premier economists and financial advisers. Dr. Fishkind's career began in the public sector where he worked as an economist and associate professor at the University of Florida. In 1980, Dr. Fishkind became the associate director for programs at the University of Florida's Bureau of Economic and Business Research. During his tenure at the university, Dr. Fishkind served from 1979-1981 on the governor's economic advisory board. He began his career as a private sector consultant when he became president of M.G.Lewis Econometrics in Winter Park, Florida. In 1988, Dr. Fishkind formed Fishkind  & Associates, Inc., as a full service economic and financial consulting firm. From 2001-2003 Dr. Fishkind was a member of Governor Bush's Council of Economic Advisers, and also served on the board of directors of Engle Homes and Summit Properties until the companies were sold.

Manny Linhares is Director of Strategy, IoT, for Legrand North America. In this role he oversees all elements of the company’s efforts to design and develop connected products for power, light and data applications in commercial and residential markets. Prior to this role, Linhares led strategy for Legrand’s Data Communications Division, focused on the data center & building network market. Linhares has also held positions with Eaton Corporation and Schneider Electric managing R&D, applications engineering, project management and sustainability initiatives. He holds a B.S. in Manufacturing Engineering Technology from the New England Institute of Technology and an MBA from the University of Rhode Island.

Jim Pauley is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).  The NFPA is a global, nonprofit organization devoted to eliminating death, injury, property, and economic loss due to fire, electrical, and related hazards.  He also serves as Chairman of the Board of the NFPA Research Foundation.

Prior to joining NFPA, Jim concluded a 30 year career in the electrical and energy industry where he most recently served as Senior Vice President, External Affairs and Government Relations, for Schneider Electric.  

Jim has served in a number of leadership positions including chairman of the board for the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and chair of the High Performance Building Council for the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA). He has received numerous awards and recognitions including the George S Wham Leadership Medal from ANSI and his induction into the Engineering Hall of Distinction at the University of Kentucky. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Kentucky and was a licensed professional engineer in Kentucky.




Bruce Seilhammer

Bruce Seilhammer is the Electrical Construction Group Manager and Warehouse Operations Manager at SECCO, Inc.  SECCO was one of the founding members of the Central PA IEC Chapter, and holds the award as one of the Best Places to Work five years in a row.  With over 30 years in the electrical industry, Bruce started as an apprentice electrician in the U.S. Air Force, obtained his Connecticut and Pennsylvania Journeyman’s licenses, and currently holds a Pennsylvania Master Electrician’s License. He is currently serving as the IEC National President. He is an instructor for Leadership, Train the Trainer, and the Master Electrician’s exam preparation classes, and serves on the IEC Central Pennsylvania Chapter A&T and Wire-off committees.

Prior to McGraw-Hill, Rusty spent 15 years evolving and leading domestic and international business development and marketing strategy for numerous U.S. and foreign-based construction product manufacturers and wholesale distributors.

His vast industry experience brings clients a seasoned, progressive approach to building organizations and teams with sustainable market competitiveness and unique industry position.

Rusty earned his bachelor's degree in marketing and international finance from the University of Southern California and his Master of Business Administration from Pepperdine University.
